Lisa Ann Zelenak is a partner in the Washington, DC office.   Ms. Zelenak has been practicing workers' compensation and insurance defense for over ten years, both in private practice, and as in house counsel to an insurance company.

Ms. Zelenak represents both national and local insurance carriers, self insured's, third party administrators and Employers.  She has extensive experience appearing before administrative agencies, and trial and appellate Courts.   

Ms. Zelenak is a graduate of Indiana University of Pennsylvania  (1999)   where she obtained a  Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminology/Pre-Law,  with High Honors ,and The Catholic University of America, Columbus School of Law with Honors (2002).  While in law school, Ms. Zelenak was a Lead Articles editor for the Journal of Contemporary Health Law and Policy.

Ms. Zelenak is licensed in the District of Columbia, the State of Maryland, the United States District Court of Maryland and the Commonwealth of Virginia.  She currently serves at the secretary for the Association of Compensation Attorneys.   

Ms. Zelenak  has also been a volunteer at Walter Reed  National Military Medical Center since 2010, through the American Red Cross.  She currently serves as a Medevac team Captain, where she assists  service members returning to Walter Reed from overseas.  She previously was a Big Sister with Big Brothers, Big Sisters of Baltimore from 2007-2009.

Ms. Zelenak is originally from Greensburg, Pennsylvania.   She has resided in the DC area since 1999.
