Andy Uria is an Associate in the Firm’s Annapolis office. Mr. Uria’s practice includes representing clients in matters involving premise liability, personal injury, landlord and tenant issues, construction, and transportation at the trial and appellate levels. Mr. Uria is admitted to the state and federal courts of Maryland and the District of Columbia. Prior to joining Bonner Kiernan, Mr. Uria was an attorney at a large national firm with his practice focused on litigation and regulatory compliance in the areas of consumer financial services and construction. Prior to entering private practice, Mr. Uria served for three years as Judicial Law Clerk to the Honorable Melvin R. Wright of the Superior Court for the District of Columbia.
Mr. Uria received his Juris Doctorate from American University’s Washington College of Law. During law school, Mr. Uria interned with the Corporate Legal Department of Zurich North American in Owings Mills, Maryland and with the Federal Trade Commission’s Bureau of Consumer Protection in Washington, D.C.
Mr. Uria received his Bachelor of Science in International Business/International Studies from Fairfield University in Connecticut. Mr. Uria was a four-year member of Men’s Soccer team while at Fairfield.
