Anthony is a partner in the firm’s Washington, D.C. office. Tony has over 25 years of experience in private practice and managing 3 staff counsel offices including 14 years at CNA Insurance in Washington, D.C., Maryland, and Virginia.
Tony focuses on professional liability defense. He represents dentists, nurses, mental health counselors, accountants, lawyers, real estate agents and other professionals in malpractice and licensing board actions. His practice includes defense of condominium association boards and personal injury defense in high exposure cases.
Tony has tried 150 jury trials in DC, Maryland in Virginia. His most recent trials include a defense verdict for a commercial office cleaning company in a high exposure premises case; an action against a condominium board where in addition to winning a defense verdict, Tony recovered $40,000 in attorney’s fees and costs for his client; and a dental malpractice case that ended in a directed verdict for the dentist.
He serves as a volunteer mediator in Washington, D.C. and is admitted in D.C., Maryland, Virginia and Florida.
Tony attended the University of Notre Dame in South Bend, Indiana and earned his law degree from George Washington University National Law Center in Washington, D.C.
He is married with two children – one is an actor in Brooklyn and the other about to enter college. His wife makes fabulous Cuban food.
