Alan G. White is a Partner in the Firm’s New Jersey Office and has over 35 years of litigation experience in a wide variety of matters including major toxic tort cases such as the Agent Orange litigation as well as asbestos, DES, and environmental contamination cases. Mr. White has also been extensively involved automobile, product liability, and malpractice cases. He has over 100 jury trials that have gone to verdict.
Mr. White has also over 25 years experience in representing and counseling insurance companies on numerous coverage issues and has been involved in major complex coverage litigations involving environmental contamination and work place discrimination.
Mr. White is currently representing a major department store chain in defense of a variety of claims as well as lead counsel on construction defect claims and other matters involving claims of personal or property injury. He is defending an automobile dealership against a wrongful death claim with a potential value in excess of $10 million.
He received his B.A. in history and a commission as a Second Lieutenant of Military Intelligence in the United States Army Reserve from Rutgers College in 1968. He received his J.D. cum laude from Suffolk University Law School in 1974 where he served as Law Review Managing Editor. Prior to private practice, Alan served as a law clerk to the Hon. Charles S. Joelson, Assignment Judge of the Superior Court in Passaic County, New Jersey, and then served for seven years as an Assistant Passaic County Prosecutor.
