Aly Brookland is an Associate in the Firm’s Philadelphia, Pennsylvania office. Her practice includes all aspects of litigation, including general liability, premises liability, asbestos litigation, motor vehicle liability, toxic tort and products liability. Ms. Brookland is a 2006 graduate of Boston University, where she received her B.A. in History, cum laude. She earned her J.D. in 2009 from the Temple University Beasley School of Law.
During law school, Ms. Brookland interned at the U.S. Attorney’s Office in the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, and was certified by the Pennsylvania Supreme Court to represent SEPTA in the Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas Arbitration Program. In her first year, she received a notation for Outstanding Oral Advocacy, and in her second year, she received the Barrister Award, for outstanding performance in Temple’s nationally ranked Trial Advocacy Program.
Prior to joining the Firm, Ms. Brookland completed a clerkship with the Honorable Robert J. Mellon in the Bucks County Court of Common Pleas.
Ms. Brookland is a member of the bars of The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and State of New Jersey. She is admited to practice in The United States District Court for The Eastern District of Pennsylvania and The United States District Court for the District of New Jersey. Ms. Brookland also serves as a court-appointed Arbitrator for The Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas Arbitration Program.
