Branch Taylor is a Partner in the firm's Washington, DC office.  Mr. Taylor is an experienced litigator with an extensive practice defending individual healthcare providers, hospitals and related health care organizations in medical negligence actions in state and federal courts.

In addition to his professional malpractice practice, Mr. Taylor has maintained a general litigation practice with experience in commercial litigation, insurance coverage, products liability and employment law.  Mr. Taylor also represents health care providers before state licensing authorities in disciplinary actions and investigations.

Mr. Taylor received his Bachelor of Arts degree, cum laude, from the State University of New York at Binghamton in 1991, and his J.D. degree from The Catholic University of America, Columbus School of Law, in 1995, where he served as Executive Editor of the Journal of Communications Law and Policy.  Upon graduation, Mr. Taylor served as a Law Clerk to the Honorable Ann O'Regan Keary, Judge of the Superior Court of the District of Columbia.

Mr. Taylor is a member of the Bars of the District of Columbia, the State of Maryland, the State of New York and the State of Rhode Island.  He is also admitted to practice before the United States District Courts for the District of Columbia and Maryland, and the Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals.  He is a member of the DC Defense Lawyers Association as well as the Voluntary Bar Associations of the District of Columbia and New York.  Mr. Taylor also lectures to health care providers and organizations on medical malpractice litigation and risk management.
