Brandon Newlands has practiced at Bonner Kiernan since 2003 in the Firm’s Washington, D.C. office. He primarily practices in the areas of product liability, professional liability and premises liability. Mr. Newlands has successfully represented national and international corporations in both District of Columbia and Maryland State and Federal Courts. In addition, Mr. Newlands has extensive experience handling lawsuits brought under the Federal Employers Liability Act (F.E.L.A.) with a particular focus on defending occupational injury claims, including actions based on whole body vibration and worn body claims brought by railroad employees.
Mr. Newlands has experience handling complex litigation matters and multi-plaintiff lawsuits. He has prepared Daubert and Frye Motions, participated in their hearings, written numerous successful motions to dismiss, has prepared and argued summary judgment motions, and has had an active role in a number of federal and state trials.
