David Freeman is a Senior Associate in the Firm’s Washington, DC office. He has over 7 years of experience litigating matters in the areas of professional liability, product liability, insurance disputes, contracts, construction matters, employment discrimination, elevator accidents, wrongful death, toxic torts, personal injury and various other commercial matters.
Mr. Freeman has tried several cases in Maryland and the District of Columbia. Most of his trial experience has dealt with issues involving auto negligence and premises liability. Mr. Freeman has been deeply involved in large multi-million dollar lawsuits for wrongful death, toxic torts and construction related issues.
Mr. Freeman is currently the lead defense counsel on various cases involving allegations of premises liability, personal injury, and construction issues. He is also second chair on various cases involving discrimination, personal injury, elevator accidents and fraud.
Mr. Freeman currently represents a major elevator company in a case involving an alleged elevator malfunction. He also assists that elevator company with construction issues and has authored a manual for them regarding the enforcement of liens and payment bonds. Additionally, he represents a major food distributor in the Maryland area in cases involving negligence and property damage.
Mr. Freeman is admitted to practice law in the District of Columbia, Maryland and Florida. He is a member of the Florida and District of Columbia bar associations.
He graduated from Stetson University, B.A. in Business Administration with a focus on Investment Finance in 1999, and received his J.D. from the Washington College of Law at American University in 2002.
