George L. Young is a professional liability defense lawyer with over forty years experience representing physicians, nurses, chiropractors, hospitals, nursing homes, medical transport companies and other health care providers as well as attorneys in courts throughout eastern Pennsylvania and southern New Jersey.

Mr. Young has tried over 120 major cases to verdict in both state and federal courts as well as representing professionals in numerous disciplinary and licensing proceedings.. In addition, he has lectured, written and served as a panelist on issues regarding his specialty including at the National Judicial College in Reno, NV.. He has received an AV rating from Martindale-Hubble has been named a Philadelphia Magazine "Top Lawyer" in the area of medical malpractice defense continuously since 2008.

Mr. Young is admitted to the Bars of the Supreme Court of the United States (2008); Supreme Court of Pennsylvania(1977); United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit (1981) and United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania (1977).

He is a member of the Pennsylvania, Philadelphia and Montgomery County Bar Associations as well as the Pennsylvania Defense Institute and Philadelphia Association of Defense Counsel Mr.Young is a 1974 cum laude graduate of Villanova University and a 1977 graduate of its law school. He resides in Philadelphia, Pa.
