James Lynn joined Bonner Kiernan in 2004 as a Partner and opened the Philadelphia office. He has litigated and tried personal injury matters in the areas of construction, construction defect, elevator construction and maintenance, premises liability, products liability, medical malpractice and toxic torts.
A substantial portion of Mr. Lynn’s practice involves representing self-insureds, including manufacturers of televisions, machinery, product line equipment and propane tanks and cylinders. Other self-insureds represented by Mr. Lynn include a national janitorial company, elevator company, security company and construction company. He has also represented physicians who practice in the field of obstetrics and gynecology, radiology, orthopedics, family practice, urology and otolaryngology in medical malpractice claims.
Mr. Lynn received his B.A. from Saint Joseph’s University in 1985 and was awarded a J.D. from Delaware Law School in 1988. While attending law school, Mr. Lynn served as a Legal Intern for the Delaware County District Attorney’s Office prosecuting criminal matters, both misdemeanors and felonies, at the preliminary hearing stage. Upon graduating from law school, Mr. Lynn took an associate position with a Philadelphia litigation firm where he later became a shareholder. Mr. Lynn is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania, including the Federal Court in the Eastern and Middle Districts.
