Sean C. Joanis is Of Counsel in the Firm's Boston office. His areas of practice focus primarily upon representing individuals and corporations in all phases of civil litigation. Mr. Joanis joined Bonner Kiernan in April 2008, following several years as in house counsel for the Zurich North America Insurance Company, St. Paul Travelers Insurance Company and Hanover Insurance Company.
In 2002, Mr. Joanis attended and successfully completed the American Bar Association, Torts and Insurance Practices Section, Trial Academy in Reno, Nevada. He also successfully completed the requirements for practice in Massachusetts and relocated to the Boston Area. He represented the Zurich North America Insurance Company insureds in a variety of matters including: construction accidents, commercial and common carriers, products liability and land use and development actions. Mr. Joanis was also employed by St. Paul Travelers Insurance Company and Hanover Insurance Company successfully representing their insureds at mediation, high low binding arbitrations and trial.
Sean C. Joanis received his B.S. in Business Administration from Bryant College in 1993. He was awarded a J.D. from New England School of Law in 1999. While attending law school he was a Member and Case and Note Editor of the New England Law Review.
