Sheila King is an Associate in the firm’s Philadelphia, PA office. Ms. King joined the firm in September of 2015 and her practice includes many aspects of civil litigation, including general liability, premises liability, products liability, general tort liability, and medical malpractice.
Prior to joining the firm, Ms. King worked as a summer associate and law clerk for a large civil defense litigation firm in the Philadelphia area, working in multiple areas, including medical malpractice, professional liability, workers’ compensation, products liability, and general liability. Additionally, Ms. King interned in the Appellate Division of the Chester County District Attorney’s Office. Ms. King also worked as a summer judicial intern to the Honorable Robert J. Matthews, Senior Judge, Court of Common Pleas in the First Judicial District of Philadelphia.
Ms. King earned her B.A. in Political Science from West Chester University of Pennsylvania in 2012, where she graduated magna cum laude. She earned her Juris Doctor from Widener University Delaware Law School in 2015. While in law school, Ms. King was the vice president of the Moot Court Honor Society, a member of the Moe Levine Trial Advocacy Honor Society, a member of the Dean’s List, and recipient of the Certificate of Achievement in Toxic Torts. Ms. King graduated law school with Pro Bono Distinction and certified in trial advocacy, having successfully completed the Trial Advocacy Certificate Program.
