William H. White Jr. is a Partner in the Washington, D.C. office and has a broad range of experience in a variety of practice areas, but he is especially skilled in managing complex, multiparty lawsuits and in using jurisdictional, venue and other procedural mechanisms to ensure that cases are litigated in the most appropriate forum.
Mr. White began practicing law in Florida and has maintained an active practice in that state over the intervening years, litigating cases in both state and federal courts all over Florida. In addition to Florida, Washington, DC, Maryland, and New Jersey, Mr. White has actively litigated matters in numerous states around the country, including New York, Pennsylvania, Illinois, Ohio, Missouri, Tennessee, North Carolina, Louisiana, Texas, Nevada, California, Arizona and Washington. Mr. White has also handled numerous appeals in both state and federal appeals courts.
Mr. White is experienced in contract, insurance and other commercial matters. He has defended attorney malpractice claims and currently represents a large commercial property owner in disputes with several tenants. Mr. White is also experienced in products liability and negligence cases, particularly in situations where the alleged wrongdoing affects multiple customers or otherwise implicates a company’s overall way of doing business. He is currently representing a large cheese producer in a series of food-borne illness suits and a large dialysis service provider in a series of matters questioning the quality of the services provided.
Mr. White is fluent in Spanish and often assists in communicating with both factual and expert witnesses with respect to their involvement in the case.
