Attorney Johnson Wins Defense Verdict for ER Nurse

D'Ana Johnson won a defense verdict for an ER nurse defendant accused of failing to report to a gastroenterologist who had performed an endoscopy that the patient was suffering pain while in recovery in the ER. The Plaintiff was discharged and laid around the house for six days --"retching and vomiting bile"-- before going to a hospital where an esophageal perforation was discovered and he underwent emergency surgery removing "2 liters of pus" from his abdomen leaving an "ugly scar" and running up $360,000 in medical costs.
